1848: David A. Snider, one of my maternal great-grandfathers, was born in that area of Virginia which is now West Virginia, the son of David Snider and Nancy Colwell (perhaps Caldwell). He died on 30 June 1929, in Saint Paul, Neosho County, Kansas, and is buried at Oakwood Cemetery, in Parsons, Labette County, Kansas.
