1644: John Cary and Elizabeth Godfrey, my maternal 8^th great-grandparents, were married in Bridgewater, (now) Plymouth County, Massachusetts. They had twelve children: John, Francis (my ancestor), Elizabeth, James, Mary, Jonathan, David, Hannah, Joseph, Rebecca, Sarah, and Mehitabel. [Source: Seth C.
