Sunday's Obituary - Edgar D. Hartnett (1903-1963)


Edgar D. Hartnett was born 3 November 1907 in Weatherford, Parker County, Texas and died 17 January 1963 in Houston, Harris County, Texas. He was married to Walterine Mary Martindale (my first cousin, once removed).

Edgar D. Hartnett, 55, of 7741 Kingsley, died Wednesday. Employee Western Electric Company. Veteran World War II. Survivors: Wife, Mrs. Walterine Hartnett; sons, Dennis and John Hartnett; daughter, Miss Elizabeth Hartnett, all of Houston; brother, Paul Hartnett; sisters, Mrs. Morris White, Mrs. R. S. Railey, all of Weatherford, Mrs. Remy Ancelin, Dallas; number of nieces and nephews. Rosary 7:30 p.m. Friday, Earthman Freeway Chapel. Services 9:15 a.m. Saturday, Earthman Freeway Chapel, 9:30 a.m. St. Christopher Church. Burial Garden of Gethsemani. Earthman Freeway Chapel, 6330 Gulf Freeway, MI 4-1641.”
