This week I am posting the
obituary for my 2nd great-grandfather, Andrew Yawman, who died on
Christmas Eve 1891. I was surprised that his obituary was so much shorter than
that published for his wife, Catherine (Sitterly) Yawman who died in August
1889; her obituary can be found here.

Yawman, aged 85, died this evening. Mr. Yawman has grown great-grandchildren
living in Denison.”
