Did your Forshee family ever live in Georgia? My great-grandmother was a Forshee and I've researched the Georgia line. The Forshee name is unusual and you don't come across it often. Don't know about you, but it has been a challenge researching the Forshees because the name has been misspelled in many records.
ReplyDeleteNone of my Forshee family were ever in Georgia as far as I know. From Tennessee, they headed west to Missouri. And yes, the various name spellings can be a hugh challenge!
DeleteMy paternal great grandparents and a great grand uncle is also buried at Hollywood Cemetery in Houston. Your lucky to have that newspaper notice.
ReplyDeleteHi, Paul, So we have roots in the same area! My grandmother had a scrapbook filled with newspaper clippings; it has been a treasure trove of family history information!
