Sunday's Obituary - Ellison Snider

Ellison Snider, my first cousin twice removed, died 18 December 1963 in Marysville, Union County, Ohio.


“Ellison Snider
Found Dead At
Home Thursday

Ellison Snider, 75, 118 E. Eighth St., died sometime in the night Wednesday.

Marysville police discovered the body about 10:30 a.m. Thursday when they were called by neighbors who feared something was wrong when they saw no activity about the house. He lived alone and was the last member of his family.

A retired employee of the former Davis Chair Factory, he was born June 27, 1888, in Union County to Joseph and Melissa (Blue) Snider.

He was a member of the First Methodist Church, a veteran of World War I, a member of the American Legion, and the Disabled American Veterans.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Faulkner Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Tropf officiating. Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home any time.”
